Guttaplast is a liquid for unsealing root canals of teeth.

Application

Re-treatment of root canals previously filled with gutta-percha.
In cases of repeated root canal filling, a special liquid is used to unseal a canal filled with gutta-percha, facilitating such manipulations.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component of the material. Do not use for other than intended purposes.

Directions for use

A method for unsealing canals in one visit.

Mechanically treat the cavity and the entrance to the canals as widely as possible. Using a probe, inject two drops of the liquid into the cavity and then into the canals, leaving it for 1 minute to soften the gutta-percha.

Then remove the softened gutta-percha using an endodontic root canal instrument until the apex is reached. Periodically, add fresh solvent and rinse the canal with sodium hypochlorite.

Method for unsealing canals in two visits.

Mechanically clean the root canal chamber and entrance as much as possible. Soak a cotton swab in the root canal filling solution and place it in the root canal, lightly compressing it. Then, seal it with a temporary filling until the next appointment. After 1-3 days, open the temporary filling and mechanically remove the softened gutta-percha. This should not be particularly difficult. After removing the filling, the canal should be rinsed, degreased, and dried to prepare it for subsequent filling.

Precautionary measures.

Prevent it from entering the esophagus.

If stored and transported correctly and the instructions for use are followed, there are no side effects.

Storage conditions

Precautions: The liquid is flammable. Store in a dry, dark place at temperatures between +4°C and +24°C, away from ignition sources.

Shelf life: 3 years. The expiration date is indicated on the packaging.
